Pexhurst Scores a Hole in One for LandAid at Golf Day

Pexhurst is delighted to announce that our third annual charity golf day has been another success, raising £3,000 for London-based property industry charity, LandAid. The golf event was held at Centurion Club in St Albans which recently hosted the LIV Golf tournament and Round 2 of the 2022 Ladies European Tour Aramco Team Series.

Held on Tuesday 19th July, this was our largest golf day to date! Despite it being the hottest day on record in Britain, 70 golfers were in attendance, showing their steadfast support for the industry charity. Representatives from our long standing client-base such as Cushman and Wakefield, Segro, CBREIM, Hollis, Avison Young, and BNP Paribas Real Estate, were in attendance.

LandAid brings the property industry together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young people who are or have been homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness in the future. Through a unique network of corporate partners, LandAid invests funding and expertise to achieve lasting impact.

Andrew McWilliams, Corporate Partnerships Manager at LandAid commented: “LandAid is incredibly proud to be able to work alongside Pexhurst again as part of their annual Charity Golf Day. Despite the record-breaking temperatures, it was amazing to see 70 people come together with an eagerness, and a determination for creating better homes and brighter futures for young people facing homelessness.”

“The £3,000 raised will have a significant impact on young people in the area; helping them to access much needed support by frontline local charities.”

The prizes on the day were awarded to Paul Arthur, Colliers for best individual score with 42 Stableford points; Matt Donaldson, Colliers for runner up score which as a result of a tie was awarded on countback. Team Sword won the best team score with 92 points, and Team O’Malley for runner-up team score. Regarding other competitions on the day, Jonathan Duncan, BNP Paribas won nearest to the pin on the 17th hole, and despite the extreme heat, nine people even Beat the Pro on the 5th hole.
