Financial Strength in Times of Uncertainty

Pexhurst have recently released our annual results for the financial year ending 31st January 2022 which reflect another strong year of growth whilst continuing to pave the way forward for continued and controlled expansion.

Revenue increased to C. £35.6m with healthy profit margins retained. Our approach to attract a range of project values from small and niche office fit-outs, to large-scale £10m logistic refurbishment schemes has allowed the growth we have seen and the continued expected growth across industrial, office, higher education and specialist sectors.

Whilst the bulk of our work is driven by repeat business from our existing long-established client base, we are also pleased to be securing projects with new clients with successful track records, who we have built relationships with over the last few years.

An important part of Pexhurst’s growth is ensuring that the company is properly structured and retains sufficient earnings to support its business goals and our growing balance sheet strength and positive cash flow are important foundations on which we continue to build, not only allowing us the flexibility needed to remain financially robust in uncertain times, but also offering our clients the assurance that we are financially stable.

Managing Director Martin Vella said: “Pexhurst has enjoyed another good year producing some outstanding projects for our diverse client base throughout London, the Midlands and the South of England that we should all be proud of. We continue to have a healthy order book for the current year ending 31st January 2023 and are hopeful that targets set will be exceeded!”

Pexhurst continues to invest in its people, supply chain and infrastructure to support our growth with currently a directly employed team in excess of 55 members. Staff retention rates remain high with over 30% of employees celebrating 10 plus years with the company this year. We will continue to invest in our people, who are the backbone of our success, expand training programmes, and promote youth into our industry via apprenticeship-type schemes and shadowing experience placements.
