Working with contract administrator TFT London, Pexhurst were appointed to carry out the refurbishment of this student accommodation. This was Pexhurst first project with Mapletree UK Management, and the main objective of this project was to bring the fire doors up to current standards and for them to be certified by an accredited fire door inspector. The project also included installation of en-suite bathrooms, refurbishment to the corridors and kitchens, as well as refurbishment and new layouts to bedrooms across all floors.
Landale House consists of 105 rooms 60% were occupied during the works and restricted to working hours of 10am-6pm. Pexhurst accommodated all of these with excellent coordination with the Landale House building management and students.
The project was completed on time and within the client’s budget even though 40nr new doors and additional finishes were added during the construction phase of the project.
