Following a competitive tender process, Pexhurst was appointed by TFT to deliver a high-quality CAT A+ office refurbishment for client M&G at 65 Leadenhall Street.
Situated in a prominent location within the City of London, this project involved a stylish fit-out to offer 3,461 sq. ft of modern, open-plan office space on the 6th floor. The property backs onto Fenchurch Street and now provides potential tenants with a contemporary workplace environment in a prime London location.
The 12-week programme began with the complete strip-out of existing fixtures, fittings, ceilings, and lighting. Pexhurst then delivered a comprehensive fit-out that included the installation of a high-spec tea point and breakout areas, as well as new glazed partitioning to create functional meeting rooms. A meeting pod was also introduced to enhance comfort and productivity for future occupants.
Sustainability and site management were key on this project. The project achieved a 100% diversion of construction waste from landfill and received an ‘Excellent’ score with the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS).
Throughout the project, Pexhurst placed strong emphasis on collaboration and communication particularly with building tenants and reception staff to ensure seamless delivery in a live operational environment.
