We’re celebrating a 63% revenue rise ahead of our 50th Birthday!

Martin Vella, our Managing Director, said: “Increasing our annual turnover and cash reserves is certainly a positive sign considering the instability and volatility seen elsewhere within the construction sector, but we remain driven by ensuring that every single project we undertake has successful outcomes. We don’t focus on hitting specific turnover targets each year; we aim to ensure that the legacy we create allows us to positively shape the sectors that we support. Whether it’s improving energy efficiency to reduce operating costs, or working with local charitable organisations to achieve tangible social impact, our team understands that a project delivered by Pexhurst is not complete until every stakeholder is satisfied.

“Beyond our positive financial results, we’re very proud of our ongoing efforts to become a net zero business by 2030 and a recognised leader in circular economy initiatives. These efforts combined with our commitment to delivery excellence are helping to make the construction sector fit for the future. Without addressing these opportunities head on, each and every day, we would not be able to retain our confidence in offering our clients the best service possible.”

Acknowledging that sustainability now plays an increasingly important role in the way that the construction sector is expected to operate, the 2025/26 financial year saw us reduce our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 33% in comparison to the previous year – exceeding the projected reduction target by 23% as outlined in our Carbon Reduction Plan.

2025/26 was also the first full year of operation for the Pexhurst Charitable Trust, which raised more than £50,000 to support individuals and organisations in the communities we have operated in for nearly 50 years. The first organisations to be awarded grants and receive vital funding were – Greenside SEND School and the National Autistic Society

Martin continued: “Our team has embraced a new approach to charitable initiatives while continuing to deliver successful outcomes for our clients. In the past year, we promoted two of our rising stars to associate director roles and created more short-term employment opportunities via our work experience and shadow placement opportunities, which highlights our focus on making Pexhurst a go-to employer for those considering a career in construction or those wanting to work hard and achieve shared success.

“As we approach our 50th anniversary, the average size of the schemes we work on may have increased compared to five decades ago, but our characteristics remain the same – experienced, progressive, approachable and dependable. It’s with full conviction that when we say we’re going to do something, we do it. When it comes to our upcoming anniversary year, we’re going to make it even more memorable than the last.”
