Pexhurst were appointed in a design and build main contractors role on this fashionable building located in the heart of Butlers Wharf. This project involved the strip out of the original CAT B fit out, followed by the installation of a new raised access floor and LED suspended lighting. The mechanical services were also upgraded.

To improve the building’s appearance the existing windows were overhauled. A full refurbishment of the building’s toilets and a newly created DDA toilet and shower room were also part of the work scope.

The current office was dated; therefore, the CAT A refurbishment brief was to reflect a modern warehouse style office environment. High level services were exposed, along with mushroom head columns to give the warehouse type office environment look.

All other floors of the building were tenant occupied, therefore noisy works were restricted to out of hours. Due to programme restrictions a crane lift approval of mechanical plant from the local authority wasn’t possible, therefore a new handling unit and air conditioning condensers were broken up into smaller units and then re-assembled on the roof.
