Following a competitive tender, on behalf of long standing client University of Hertfordshire, Pexhurst refurbished two floors of their Psychology department faculty offices during the summer shut down. The existing areas had a very dated 1960s appearance.

Walls were demolished and a glazed Komfort partition system was installed to introduce more light to the central corridors, along with new doors with full height vision panels to every office. Upgraded fire rating was achieved on all new installations.

The corridors had new LED lighting installed, new suspended ceilings, new lighter carpets to an Interface pattern and were repainted in white to create a modern office environment.

Additional break out space & meeting rooms were created in glazed Komfort partitions including feature recessed lighting, new air conditioning & bespoke joinery.

Specialist rooms were created for a Faraday cage, audio booth & interview rooms. On some of the electrical & data installations we integrated with the Universities incumbent suppliers to meet their specific requirements, including fire alarm & storage systems.
