The University of Hertfordshire prides itself on being an ambitious and entrepreneurial university focused on developing new and creative approaches to learning, teaching and research. It is committed to adding value to employers and enterprise regionally, nationally and internationally.

The expansion and development of facilities required Pexhurst to provide a range of services that would enhance the student learning experience. This included the extension of a laboratory, installing a lift to move engine blocks around the space, which was essential to the education of the students studying that course.

The completed extension of the laboratory and installation of a mezzanine floor took
six weeks and was completed ready for the students to continue
their courses.
