Working within a secure environment, the refurbishment and restructuring of various areas within Her Majesty's Court Service premises in Guildford presented Pexhurst with a project that required meticulous planning and management to complete within the thirteen week timeframe.

The creation of a new secure dock and entrance to Court Six on the ground floor level had to be completed to exacting specifications to ensure security and safety, whilst also minimising disruption to other areas of the building that were still occupied.

The complete refurbishment of an existing custody suite on the mezzanine level and the formation of a new interview room on the first floor also required special programming to minimise disruption to employees and visitors. The project included the demolition and strip-out of internal finishes and services and the installation of new blockwork walls, services and interior
finishes including walls, ceilings and flooring.
