Royal Opera Arcade

An important building for Londoners and tourists alike, it was essential to understand both the look and the spirit of this famous shopping arcade.

The Royal Opera Arcade, running along the former site of the Opera House, now Her Majesty’s Theatre, is the oldest covered shopping arcade in London. Designed by John Nash and completed in 1818, it incorporates 18 small shops on one of its sides, each with a basement and mezzanine.

When Pexhurst was appointed to renovate the external decorations and enhance the feature lighting, we were aware that we were dealing with an area of historic significance and completed the project with exemplary care and consideration, to the very highest standards.
