Improving and upgrading the commercial office space at Elmbrooke House required interior and exterior renovations, and full redecorations over the course of 14 weeks.

Elmbrooke House is a three storey office building, built in the mid 90’s and situated on Station Road in the Sunbury on Thames area.

Pexhurst was commissioned as a main contractor to conduct a full refurbishment of the property within a tight 14 week programme.

A key part of the project involved upgrading the impressive double height reception area to create a clean, minimalist and professional entrance space. An impressive floor to ceiling walnut wood feature wall now dominates the space and acts as an impressive backdrop for three drop pendant lights suspended above state of the art glass reception desks.

Other internal upgrades included the installation of new air conditioning and carpeting throughout, LG7 lights and suspended ceilings, and full redecorations. The WC’s and shower facilities were also upgraded.

External renovations included the cleaning of the external building and external decorations, as well as full roof repairs. The building now has a Target EPC rating - B.

Because of its proximity to the Thames mainline railway station and tracks, permissions had to be sought from transport operator, National Rail, to gain approved access before any work was carried out.

There were up to 60 Pexhurst operatives on site every day,many of whom worked weekends to ensure that the project was completed on schedule, and that there was minimum disruption to busy areas. Despite ongoing programme variations and delays that were out of Pexhurst's control, the project was completed on time and within budget.
