Rivergate House - Cognito Limited

CAT B refurbishment and fit-out for mobile workforce management solutions provider Cognito in its new home at Newbury’s Rivergate House.

In a tight, seven-week programme, Pexhurst has more than met the challenges of the project, providing Cognito with a high-quality tenant fit-out in the Berkshire town’s premier business park.

As main contractor, all trade subcontractors were overseen on this high-spec fit-out, adapting internal layouts and supplementing the landlord’s services to meet Cognito’s demands. A new reception area, conference rooms, tea points and break-out areas provide Cognito with a top-end office environment. The quality is demonstrated by the inclusion of the Komfort polar double glazed partitioning system, which complements other high-end features such as the lighting.

This project also involved additions to building services, including M&E, lighting, ventilation and fire alarms, demanded by the changes to floor layouts and new facilities; for example providing supplementary ventilation and comfort cooling for the new conference rooms.

With time of the essence for this project, weekend and after-hours working ensured that the client’s deadline was never in doubt.
