OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety
Health and Safety is of paramount importance on all of Pexhurst’s construction sites. OHSAS 18001 is the latest certification specification for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. It is based on already published criteria such as BS 8800 and the Management Regulations 1992. |

Constructionline
Constructionline is the UK's register of pre-qualified local and national construction and construction-related contractors and consultants. Owned and endorsed by the DTI, they gather and assess pre-qualification information on behalf of public and private sector procurers and provide them with access to over 12,500 fully accredited suppliers free of charge. At Pexhurst, we have been using our continued registration to pre-qualify and tender for numerous projects since 2006. |

SAFEcontractor
SAFEcontractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the health & safety competency of contractors, from their health and safety competence to the suitability of their arrangements. SAFEcontractor is effectively the clients approved contractor list. In a further commitment to health and safety, Pexhurst have been assessed and accredited by SAFEcontractor since 2006. |

CHAS
Over the years local authority health and safety and procurement professionals, with the support of the Health and Safety Executive, have developed the Contractor Health and Safety assessment scheme (CHAS). In the same way that Constructionline offer financial vetting of contractors negating the need for multiple assessments of financial standing, so CHAS offers the same service for H&S, ensuring standards of health and safety compliance. Pexhurst have successfully been assessed for the database since 2005. |

A single source serving the interior fit-out industry, the AIS is a trade association that represents companies involved in the manufacture, supply and installation of all aspects of interior fit-outs and refurbishments. The AIS Contractors Awards are presented annually to promote and encourage high levels of craftsmanship in seven categories. Pexhurst Services have both won and been highly commended for these prestigious awards in the past. |

The BWF is recognised as the leading representative body for the woodworking industry and builders’ joinery. It provides a complete range of services to its Members including expert advice on technical issues, employment and contractual law, health and safety, tax issues, environmental matters. Successful completion of annual assessments has meant that Pexhurst has been a member of the BWF since 1994. |
